My laptop has 256 mb ram. I want to upgrade it to atlease 512 mb because of the video card. It has Pc4200 DDR2 SRAM. It can be expandet to 2 gb but i need to know. How do i tell without opening it if i have 1 256mb card in there or 2 128’s

I have an Apple IBook G4……I don’t know if I need a special program to get a video off a DVD+R onto my computer so that I can e-mail it to my family. Every time I insert the cd into the cd opening (guess that’s what it’s called?) my DVD player program just starts playing it. But I want it permanently on my computer like my pictures. How do I do this? Let me know if you need any other info. in order to help me out!!! Thanks!!!
