I purchased the Lenovo X61 tablet PC about 4 months ago. It crashed frequently. I discussed the problem with their tech support reps and sent it in. It continued to crash. I continued to send it back to them, three times.It still frequently crashed. I got it replaced under warranty and now have a new one. It still crashes. Logic would indicate it is something I am doing, but I have no idea what. I understand computers, I used to be a computer science major even.

I am running Windows Vista, I have installed as many updates as I can find, I don’t install any malacious software or use P2P sites.
It seems to randomly crash. It has crashed so far when I was on the internet checking Email, working on a Paper in word and looking at some notes in powerpoint.
The crashes consist of the little “loading” circle replacing the cursor and I am unable to manipulate the screen. The keyboard has no effect. It’s like the computer is dead until I hold down the power button to restart. PLEASE HELP!

For a while when I was putting the charger in it would charge on and off, but I would have to wiggle the charger around inside the little charging port until it started charging again. But now when I plug it in it does nothing at all. Somebody have an idea whats wrong?

I just downloaded Linux, but now my Wacom tablet is getting messy, like the scroller is working backwards and i have no was of configuring the tablet…it is no longer in the control panel like it was in the PC, and I have no idea how to use Linux…can anyone give me a step by step tutorial on how to do this?

I was plannig to buy a laptop but since Ipad does many things that a laptop can do and it is cheapper I was wondering if it is a good idea to buy an ipad instead of a laptop.

(Im going to university next year and Im plannig to buy a laptop or a MAC)
