please help ! Prevent screen dimming on my tablet PC on batteries—?
i have a tablet pc screen that dims a horrible lot when on batteries( even on 100 percent charge) and makes it difficult to read. can anyone please help me by telling me where exactly i need to go in settings to change this so that it doesnt dim when switched from electrical to battery?

power settings doesnt help—that just cotrols when the screen goes on standby
look really, thanks but control panel settings dont have the option for preventing dimming. my screen is on full brightness. please provide real answers. you will have my muchas gracias!!

Go to control panel, performance and maintenance, then power options

In that menu, you should be able to adjust the brightness of the monitor.

That is the correct place to check for your settings… look again and check every button you may have over looked it…
Other wise look for your particular laptops system software, there will be a specific program that is installed by the factory that manages the brightness in order to conserve the battery… THAT IS JUST THE WAY IT IS.
You may be able to contact tech support via email and they will be able to tell you whether or not you can override this setting… email contact usually works and is better than setting on hold for 2 days. Most companies have forums and chat boards as well.
