Loading ...Can i connect an apple and windows pc over a cross over cable.?
I have tried and tried but i can’t connect my ibook g4 to my gateway pc over a cross over cable. i have check the cable and tried different ones but no luck. Is it possible or not?
If so then can anyone tell me exactly how to do this, because there is no sign that these computers are connected and i cannot send or recieve data from either one even over Windows Remote Desktop connecting program.
Alright thanks, but how do i change the windows ip and set it up, sorry but i switch to mac a long time ago.

Certianly so long as you set up the ip address on both to be on the same network, but its likely that you wont even need a crossover as many of the apples auto switch after detecting the cable.
