They have the same line on their website that is still available but it has been completely redesigned with better specs. Just because they have a laptop with the same name doesn’t mean that it is the same one in this video.
I got the acer aspire 8735G-6472 with a 240GT DDR3 This 18.4 Laptop for under $1000 is the best thing I have ever owned…with surround sound!
I recommend Acer I have tried everything else bang for buck… Acer eats them for breakfast!

u easily get what your payin for with the alienware, apart from the massive range of customisation options i find it very difficult to believe that you found a laptop with even the same standard specs for that price as alienware are the best manufacturers out there. apart from that you also get anti virus software installed, insurance and prority with dell’s customer support

Acer gives ten times more Quality screens, speakers, system harddrive size and top ram with the best Laptop Video card out there for half the cost of other Laptops.
They are a complete gaming and work station Laptop. I tried them all and owned 3 Laptops and I must Say knowing nothing about Laptops as you say I found Acer to be the best! try it .
Oh I forgot the Batterie life on the Acer doess actually last about 3 hours as they claim 3.5 Other Laptops I have owned last 1/3rd what they claim which had batteries double the size of the Acer model and Acer lasted far longer.
Now what I saw in Costco recently was a 15.6 inch Acer andf HP HP was $200 more with half the stuff Acer was givng from 500 Gig harddrive Acer had also 4560HD ATI . HP had a old 7300GT with a 250 gig Harddrive. To me this is a huge difference.
