Loading ...I have an ibook G4 and neither my Safari nor my iTunes applications will open I have updated but it does noth?
Every time I try to launch either of them they will bounce one time on the dock, and then nothing. I tried opening them from my applications folder, but, still, nothing! how do i fix this??

for iTunes: go into the applications folder and Trash the existing iTunes application and re-download. If it asks you (it shouldn’t) to remove or erase your Library say NO.
for Safari: I would make sure your OS is completely updated. You might try reloading the OS disc to repair native apps.
