I have a broken ethernet card on my Dell 600m notebook. How do i fix it.?
I ran a diagnostic but the problem is that it down not even know when i plug the ethernet cord into the connection. My question is can i reinstall it because im trying not to have spend alot of money.

Is your network card enabled? Go to Start | Control Panel | Network Connections and see if your adapter is enabled or the drivers are properly installed. The network adapter is on the mobo, so to change/fix the adapter you would need a new mobo.

Its pretty expensive to replace the one built into your computer. Go to your electronic store and pickup a USB ethernet card for $20.00.

In my dell my ethernet was a intergrated system.Not a card it required a download to get it up again.Check at http://www.support.dell.com for the info.
