Get a new one, if you know someone who can solder very very well, he can solder the connection. I had this happen one time where the solder joint on the power jack came loose, and I resoldered it as I knew what I was doing. If you dont get a new one.

go to apple.com and look along the left and right side of the site. you will see a red SALE take click it they have promo offer discontinued refurbished. that or if your a student they do give student discounts. the nice part about going this way rather then ebay is you can buy the 3 year apple care warrenty which is a good choice cause if one thing goes wrong pretty much everything gets replaced
